Amsterdam Love storytellers (Ita)

Behind the red curtain.

Amsterdam as you've never seen it before, between attraction, risk, and identity.

A city, a man and many chance encounters.

A journey that would change anyone.
Amsterdam is transgression, but also a mirror reflecting dreams, illusions, and possibilities. In the nocturnal streets, the protagonist meets Elena, who is lost in the city's freedoms; only she knows why she pulled back that red curtain for the first time.
Then comes Martina, a psychology student. Beautiful, cheerful, intelligent, and charismatic. Their acquaintance becomes a psychoanalysis for the reader as well: a confrontation with the reality of their limitations and the need to look within themselves.
The seven chakras are the final pivot: they align, dance and collide with the deepest fragilities and desires, creating the one thing.
Amsterdam Love Storytellers is an intimate, modern, and everyday novel about what happens when we leave the door open to risk and our most forbidden desires.

"Very well written, set in a wonderful city. The protagonists' story has a unique, almost magical feel, which captivated me from the first pages. I dare say it was a predestined and emphatic encounter. This book transforms the everyday into the extraordinary."

Who doesn't know Amsterdam?

Welcome to Disneyland for adults, where freedom reigns: here you can do whatever you want! But beware: if you don't control your mind, you risk ruining yourself. No one imposes limits on you—in Amsterdam, you have to find them yourself!

Know what I think?
People seek freedom, but do they really know how to handle it alone without messing up?

Anyway, it was one of the best experiences of my life. But I noticed something: I visited first as a tourist, then worked there. As a worker, I saw it differently—it wasn't the same Amsterdam.

I asked myself: "Am I the one who changed? Am I seeing it differently? What's happening?" Then I realized: what we are at a given moment changes our reality.

Get my point? Amsterdam isn't the same for everyone. Example: a tourist sees the freedoms, trapped by bans in their own country. A worker sees it differently. A window client sees it as transgressive. And I wondered: what’s it like from the other side, where those girls wait? We see from outside in—who knows what it feels like from inside out?

That's how Amsterdam Love Storytellers was born.

The book was written right in this square. More precisely, on the fourth floor of one of these windows. The Smokey coffeeshop you see in a photo was always packed with people craving those freedoms denied elsewhere. As for the canals... well, they were and still are a show. An art exhibit in deep red hues that evoke forbidden shades for some, lust, power, and money for others... and for the shy ones—yes, they exist too—pure discomfort.

This city shows two souls: the daytime one with tulips and warm sun, and the nighttime one burning red. This mix creates perfection between good and evil, forbidden and allowed. But: who decides what is good and what is evil?

The book cover aims to show not just the forbidden, but a Taoist balance.
